India Proposes Draft Order for Toys

India has informed the WTO of its intention to regulate toys by requiring these products to comply with the latest version of a list of standards and to bear a Standard Mark. These will enter into force after six months from its publication in the Official Journal.
Canada Proposes MRLs for Deltamethrin and Pyriofenone for Specific Food Commodities

Health Canada’s PMRA has notified the WTO that proposed MRLs for Deltamethrin and Pyriofenone in specific food commodities are to be implemented. Comments from WTO members are due within 75 days of publication, April 19, 2020.
EU Amends CLP Regulation on Substances and Mixtures

The EU has published ATP-14 to amend the CLP Regulation. Except for the substance pitch, coal tar, high-temperature, which has been effective since December 2019, the other revisions will become effective on October 1, 2021.
In France, Application Notice n°95-959 for High Beds has Been Published in JORF

The JORF application notice relating to the application of decree n°95-949 relating to the prevention of risks resulting from the use of bunk beds intended for use in domestic or contract environments has been published. This application notice refers to the updated version for “Mezzanine” beds NF D 62 100-1 :2019 and NF D 62100-2:2019.
US HUD Aligns Formaldehyde Emissions from Composite Wood Products with EPA

The US HUD (U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development) has issued a final rule to streamline and align formaldehyde emission requirements for composite wood products in manufactured home constructions with the Formaldehyde Standards for Composite Wood Products Act. The new rule will become effective on March 2, 2020.
Andean Community Approved Technical Regulations on Labelling of Footwear, Leather Goods, Travel and Similar Items
